You DO NOT need a Visa to enter Panama if you have a US, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, British, Brazilian, Peruvian, Costa Rican, Spanish, French, Swiss, Israel, Portuguese,  Italian, Venezuelan, Colombian, Argentina, Portuguese, German, or Chilean passport.   Consult your travel agent for details.

Just a valid passport and tourist card are needed to enter the country. If you are a US citizen, you can even enter Panama on a valid birth certificate if you do not have a passport. The tourist card can be obtained through your airline at your departing airport desk for US$5.00 or you can buy the tourist card when you arrive in Panama at the customs desk of the airport.

You must pay a US$20 cash-only airport tax when you leave the country of Panama. Make sure you have cash on hand before departing for the airport. There are ATM machines in the airport and all over the country in case you need cash from your bank account.
