There are public telephones in the town of Catalina where you can call back home collect or using an international calling card (AT&T or MCI are accepted). There is one internet café in Catalina, but the connection is slow. Since 2009 there is cellphone signal. The closest town from Catalina is about 80 minutes away by car and it is a small town. The closest relatively large town (with grocery stores, banks, ATM's and other facilities) from Catalina is about 2 hours away by car. Generally, unless for a special request or emergency, our guests don't leave Catalina until it is time to go home. However, if you are willing to pay for the fuel cost to drive over to the town, our tour guide will transport you there.
